Because I have both types of cameras, I thought I’d give a comparison of the performance of both types of cameras for astroimaging. Many people are curious as to whether or not the now inexpensive SLRs (relatively speaking) can compete with the much more expensive astronomical CCDs used by the best amateur astrophotographers.
